We went out on March 1, 2026 for a full-day charter and got right into the action. Within the first 10 minutes of trolling, we landed a nice king mackerel. Things got even more interesting when a shark followed one of our fish to the boat. Captain Haime quickly set up a shark rig, and we hooked into an unexpected 12-foot hammerhead. The fight lasted close to two hours, and the shark was safely released. I can’t say enough good things about Captain Haime and his first mate Ben. We’ll definitely be booking another trip soon.

We arrived late due to an unexpected travel issue, but the captain was very understanding and flexible. Since he didn’t have another trip scheduled, he extended our time on the water, which we really appreciated. He was patient, attentive, and took the time to teach us different fishing techniques. He worked hard to get us on fish and made sure we had a great experience. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back for another trip.
